Mrs. Chamekka Williams

Greetings Cubs!

 

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  I am so excited to be your new principal and I am honored to join the Southeast Elementary School community.

I am a two time graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s Degree in English and a Master’s Degree in School Administration.  I am beginning my 24th year in education.  I have been a high school English teacher at Greene Central High School, an assistant principal at Selma Elementary School in Johnston County, and most recently I served as assistant principal at North Lenoir High School. My husband and I live in Kinston, and we are both Greene County natives. 

I wholeheartedly believe that ALL students can learn at high levels, and it is my goal to ensure that our children continue to receive a quality education in an environment that is safe and nurturing every day. I am committed to working in partnership with our families, staff and community to support our children in reaching their maximum potential.
